The Larson Electronics IND-CD.SA-GP-4XAH-4X300W-R1-500C is a High Intensity UV Sanitation Cart which can disinfect 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold and spores on seats and surfaces in facilities where events are frequently held. This unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (254nm) and has four, 300-watt induction lamps on motorized wings. Equipped with 500' of 12/3 SOOW cord, the lights are mounted to a heavy-duty cart with stair-climbing wheels for efficient mobility.

The IND-CD.SA-GP-4XAH-4X300W-R1-500C is a powerful sanitation solution for buildings and facilities that host seated events. Equipped with four 300-watt induction lamps, this system offers UV output within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm). The lamps have a 100,000-hour useful lifespan, making the system a long-lasting solution in work sites. Two motorized wings on the left and right side hold two induction lamps each. The arms can be positioned directly over the seating areas for accurate sanitation. This UV system caters to entire seating rows (both left and right) with 160 degrees of coverage.
Compared to fragile UV fluorescent lamps, UV induction lights do not contain electrodes. The lights are powered via an electromagnet to reduce the risk of gas leaks associated with traditional fluorescent lights. The UV light produced by induction lamps is more intense, compared to fluorescent and mercury vapor lights, resulting in quick sanitation.
Operation: Operators activate the motorized wings to deploy the UV induction lights on the cart and position the lamps based on the seating configuration and sanitation requirements of the area. For protection from UV rays during use, operators may deploy a foldable transparent UV shield on the cart. With the wings and shield open, operators push the cart up and down aisles to sanitize seats on the left and right side within seconds. Multiple carts can be purchased to cover larger areas quicker. The fixtures are protected by metal wire guards to prevent bulbs from accidental breaking. The UV light can disinfect over 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and spores.

This UV fixture is a Risk Group 3 UV product. UV radiation from the unit can damage the skin and eyes without proper protection. Operators should avoid exposure to the eyes and skin when the unit is unshielded (for use in enclosed environments only). In the event of lamp breakage, it is recommended to ventilate the room for 30 minutes and clean the area with gloves (not a vacuum cleaner). Contents should be stored in a sealed plastic bag and brought to a waste/recycling facility.
Note on Lamps: Induction lamps are similar to high-intensity discharge lamps. There is a glass bulb filled with gases, and an external ballast. The difference in the technology is, unlike metal halide or high pressure sodium that create an arc between two electrodes to ignite gases, induction lamps generate light from an electromagnetic interaction with the gases. This magnetic reaction with the gases provides a more energy efficient product and a longer lifespan over traditional high intensity discharge lamps. Additionally, there is no warm-up time generally associated with high intensity discharge lamps. Induction lamps provide instant-on light output similar to LED technology. The combination of induction lamp technology and UVC output provides the high output from high intensity discharge lamps with the instant-on, long life span, and energy efficiency of LED technology.
Voltage: The IND-CD.SA-GP-4XAH-4X300W-R1-500C is compatible with 120V and 240 AC. Rechargeable, cordless UV sanitation carts are available at an additional cost.

Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Cart: The UV induction lights are mounted to an aluminum cart with a heavy-duty, high-strength powder coated finish for durability against dirt, moisture, accidental bumps and scratches. With most of the weight located at the back of the sanitation unit, the cart can be tilted back to position the front wheels on steps. The system contains stair-climbing wheels that enable operators to move the unit up stairways without hoisting equipment. The cart has a cord wrap handle on the side for easy cord management during deployment and storage.
