This is a blouson I obtained at an antique market while collecting clothing from the Showa and Taisho eras. I believe it was made by dismantling military tents from the wartime period, either during or after the war, and repurposing the material. There are stitch marks throughout.

The fabric is olive-colored, sturdy cotton.

The buttons are wooden. I believe they are original. In fact, I have wooden buttons from a wartime sewing factory, and these are almost identical.

It's tattered, but the silhouette is unlike anything modern, and it looks great. I used to wear it with slacks from the same era (around the 1940s).

I previously purchased it on Mercari, but I no longer wear it, so I am putting it up for sale.
